Metro’s Thursday PM Commute: Expect transit service delays on commuter routes to Seattle to subside as PM traffic clears; text for departure

The platform elevator at the eastbound stop at Evergreen Point  freeway station is out of service

The platform elevator at the stop eastbound on SR-520 at the Evergreen Point freeway station is out of service, until further notice.

Transit riders who require the use of an elevator can plan ahead to board eastbound SR-520 transit service at Clyde Hill/Yarrow Point stop, and transfer to an eastbound Route 255 to the South Kirkland Park and Ride.  From there, transfer to a westbound Route 255 to return to either the Clyde Hill/Yarrow Point or Evergreen Point freeway stations.  The elevators at the westbound platforms are not affected.

Every effort is being made to restore the elevator as soon as possible.
