Metro’s Tuesday PM Commute: Earlier transit service delays are subsiding as the evening commute comes to an end; text your stop ID to 62550

The elevator at the Westbound stop at the Evergreen Point Freeway Station is out of service

The westbound stop elevator remains out of service.

Westbound riders who require the use of an elevator can continue to plan ahead to board or exit westbound SR 520 transit service at the stop Clyde Hill/Yarrow Point Freeway Station instead.

Additionally, the elevator at the eastbound Evergreen Point stop is not affected. On weekdays, westbound transit passengers who need to get to Evergreen Point can transfer at Montlake Freeway Station to eastbound Sound Transit Express routes 541 or 542 to return to Evergreen Point and use the elevator at the eastbound stop.  On weekends, only ST 542 is in service.

Board ST 541 or 542 on southbound Montlake Blvd E just north of E Lake Washington Blvd. This will involve going up a ramp from the freeway station to Montlake Blvd E and crossing the street

Every effort is being made to restore elevator service as soon as possible.

Trailhead Direct launches expanded service to popular hiking destinations along I-90

Trailhead Direct is a seasonal service that operates on weekends and holidays between April and October during the hiking season.

Four Trailhead Direct routes provide service to the Issaquah Alps, Cougar Mountain, Mount Si & Mt Teneriffe and Mailbox Peak trailheads.

Riding Trailhead Direct requires payment of a regular Metro fare in both directions with cash, ORCA or the Transit GO mobile app.

Hike safely. Take plenty of water. Let someone know where you are going, and be aware that cell service availability may be limited.
