Traffic congestion is subsiding near the International District due to the earlier NFL festivities. Still expect Seahawk home opener game day traffic in the Pioneer Square, Stadium & SODO areas.
Transit riders should expect delays on any service that travels in or near downtown Seattle and possibly in other areas of the system. Metro advises riders to plan ahead, and allow plenty of time or revise travel plans as necessary.

Routes 16, 66 & 99 are rerouted today
In addition to likely delays in service, all day on Thursday, September 4, Metro routes 16, 66 & 99 will be rerouted off of S Jackson St between Fourth and First avenues South, due to the Seahawks season-opening home game and NFL events.

Southbound I-5 traffic is clearing.

Northbound I-405 from Southcenter to NE Park Rd and NE 8th St to SR 522. Southbound I-405 from SR 520 to 112th Av SE.
