Transit riders should expect delays on any service that travels in or near downtown Seattle and possibly in other areas of the system. Metro advises riders to plan ahead, and allow plenty of time or revise travel plans as necessary.

Routes 16, 66 & 99 are rerouted today
In addition to likely delays in service, all day on Thursday, September 4, Metro routes 16, 66 & 99 will be rerouted off of S Jackson St between Fourth and First avenues South, due to the Seahawks season-opening home game and NFL events.

The blockage on NE 42 St has cleared; buses resume normal operation

Northbound routes 71, 72, 73 & 74 have resumed normal service on NE 42nd St between 7th Av NE & Roosevelt Way NE. The earlier blockage has been cleared.Thank you for riding and for using Metros’ services.

Northbound routes 71, 72, 73 & 74 are rerouted off of NE 42 St between 7 Av NE & Roosevelt Way NE, due to a blockage. Use stops on University Way NE north of NE Campus Pkwy.

Transit riders should expect delays on any service that travels in or near downtown Seattle and possibly in other areas of the system. Metro advises riders to plan ahead, and allow plenty of time or revise travel plans as necessary.

Routes 16, 66 & 99 are rerouted today
In addition to likely delays in service, all day on Thursday, September 4, Metro routes 16, 66 & 99 will be rerouted off of S Jackson St between Fourth and First avenues South, due to the Seahawks season-opening home game and NFL events.
