Metro’s Friday AM Commute: Currently there are no major delays in transit service to report; South Bellevue P&R closure; weekend const & events

The South Bellevue Park-and-Ride closure

• Tuesday, 5/30 for approx. 5 years for East Link construction.
• Metro Route 241 & Sound Transit routes 550, 555 and 556 will be affected.  During this time, use the stop on Bellevue Way SE just north of 112th Av SE, across the street from the park-and-ride.
• Heading toward the Bellevue Transit Center, these routes will continue to serve the stop on Bellevue Way SE, just outside the park-and-ride.
• Visit Sound Transit for information about the East Link project, and alternate park-and-ride options.

Events

Mariners at Safeco Field 

• Friday and Saturday, 6/2-3 at 7:10 PM; Sunday, 6/4 at 1:10 PM.
• Ride regularly scheduled transit service to & from games.
• Lots of transit service goes near Safeco Field.
• SODO-area transit service operates via regular routes & stops
  and there are no post-game reroutes.
• There is no transit service on 1st Av S north of S Lander St.
• Expect traffic & possible transit delays before & after games
  on routes that serve SODO, Pioneer Square & the DSTT.

Susan G Komen Race for the Cure 5K Run

• Sunday, 6/4 – Start of service to 12 Noon;
• Metro routes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 10, 11, 13, 21, 24, 26, 28, 33, 40, 47, 49, 62, 70, 131, 132, and the RapidRides C, D & E lines +Sound Transit Express Routes 522, 545 & 554 will be rerouted.

Sounders FC match

• Sunday, 6/4 at 7:00 PM;
• Ride regularly scheduled Transit service to or near CenturyLink Field;
• Expect traffic & possible Transit delays before and after games on routes that serve SODO, Stadium, Pioneer Square & downtown Seattle area;
• Regular fares apply.

Long-term Construction Reroutes

S 2nd St is closed at Main St in Renton

• Through Saturday, 7/1 – at all times;
• Metro routes 101, 107, 148 and 153 are rerouted.

120th Av NE is closed between Totem Lake Blvd & NE 128th St

• Through Sunday, 12/31 – at all times;
• Metro routes 235, 236, 238 and 277 are rerouted.

Main St is closed in downtown Bothell

• Through Sunday, 12/31 – at all times;
• Metro routes 243, 312, 342, 372 and Sound Transit Route ST 522 are rerouted.
