Use stops along the reroute on 5th Av NE or at the Northgate Transit Center.

Metro’s Tuesday PM Commute: Transit service delays are continuing in and around Seattle; delays should subside as the commute winds down

Some transit service is still experiencing delays.  With the exception of the I-5 Northgate/UW cooridor, traffic volumes on area freeways have improved.

Delays should subside as the commute winds down.

Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, 11/23 – Sunday service

  • If a route does not normally run on Sunday, there is no service on Thanksgiving Day.
  • Sunday fares will be in effect on Metro bus routes on Thursday.

Metro operates reduced weekday service and University of Washington reductions on Friday, 11/24

  • Complete information is on Metro’s Holiday page.
  • Some entire routes are canceled & some trips on other routes are canceled.
  • Canceled routes are designated in the service notes in paper & online timetables.
  • Individual trips that are canceled due to the reduced weekday schedule are marked with an “H” in timetables.
  • Individual trips that are canceled when the UW is not in session are marked with a “D”.
  • Most Metro Transit offices, including the Customer Information office, pass sales counters and Lost & Found will be closed on Friday.
  • Metro’s Customer Information call center at 206-553-3000 will reopen Monday, Nov 28  at 6:00 AM.

Bus Stop Relocation

The stop northbound on 3rd Av just north of Bell St is closed

  • Through Friday, 12/31 – at all times;
  • Routes 1, 2, 3, 4, 13, 15, 17, 18, 19, 24, 33, 116, 118, 119, 124 and the RapidRide D Line are serving the temporary stop northbound on 3rd Av just north of Battery St.
  • Routes 5, 26, 28 and the RapidRide E Line are serving the temporary stop eastbound on Battery St just east of 3rd Av.

Long-term Construction Reroutes

120th Av NE is closed between Totem Lake Blvd & NE 128th St

  • Through Sunday, 12/31 – at all times;
  • Metro routes 235, 236, 238 and 277 are rerouted.

Main St is closed in downtown Bothell

  • Through Sunday, 12/31 – at all times;
  • Metro routes 243, 312, 342, 372 and Sound Transit Route ST 522 are rerouted.

Long-term Construction Closures

The South Bellevue Park-and-Ride closure

  • Through mid-year 2022 for East Link construction.
  • Metro Route 241 & Sound Transit Express routes 550, 555 and 556 are affected.  During this time, use the stop on Bellevue Way SE just north of 112th Av SE, across the street from the park-and-ride.
  • Heading toward the Bellevue Transit Center, these routes will continue to serve the stop on Bellevue Way SE, just outside the park-and-ride.
  • Visit Sound Transit for information about the East Link project, and alternate park-and-ride options.
