Metro’s Friday PM Commute: Earlier transit delays are subsiding as the evening commute winds down; visit Metro’s website for fare revisions

Events

Bellevue College Commencement Ceremony

  • Friday, 6/15 –  2:30-10:30 PM;
  • Metro routes 221, 226, 245 & 271 will be rerouted near the Bellevue College.

Mariners Home Stand

  • Fri, 6/15 at 7:10 PM,
  • Sat, 6/16 at 5:15 PM, and
  • Sun, 6/17 at 1:10 PM;
  • There is no premium or special transit service to or from games.
  • Ride regularly scheduled transit service to & from games.
  • Lots of transit service goes near Safeco Field.
  • Route 21 will operate via a post-game reroute for all Mariners home games.
  • On Wednesday, 6/13, routes 116, 118 & 119 will be affected by a post-game reroute.
  • There is no transit service on 1st Av S north of S Lander St.

Fremont Solstice Parade 

  • Saturday, 6/16 – 12:00 Noon-5:00 PM;
  • Metro routes 31 & 32 will be rerouted in the Fremont area;
  • Metro will operate a shuttle bus between downtown Seattle
    and the south end of the Fremont Bridge.
  • Expects possible transit service delays.

Fenders on Front Street

  • Sunday, 6/17 – 5:30 AM-5:30 PM;
  • Metro Route 271 will be rerouted in the Issaquah area.

Attention ORCA and TransitGo pass and ticket buyers
Effective July 1, Metro is switching to a new simple fare of $2.75 for all
regular adult fare passengers. Metro riders will no longer pay additional
surcharges for fare zones or travel during peak commute hours. Watch
for additional information from your fare payment system of choice, and
plan to make any necessary revisions starting with your July pass or ticket
purchase. This is a revision to Metro fares. For other agencies’ fares,
please visit their respective sites.
