Metro’s Friday PM Commute: Expect possible transit delays this afternoon for buses operating in downtown Bellevue

Events

Street Closure

  • Friday, 10/13
  • 4:00 PM-7:30 PM;
  • Routes 226, 232, 234, 235, 249 and 981 and Sound Transit Express Route 550 will be rerouted.
  • Expect traffic congestion and street closures in the downtown Bellevue area, due to an event. Other transit routes in the downtown Bellevue area may be delayed during this time

Bus Stop Relocation

The stop northbound on 3rd Av just north of Bell St is closed

  • Through Friday, 12/1 – at all times;
  • Routes 1, 2, 3, 4, 13, 15, 17, 18, 19, 24, 33, 82 Night Owl, 116, 118, 119, 124 and the RapidRide D Line are serving the temporary stop northbound on 3rd Av just north of Battery St.
  • Routes 5, 26, 28 and the RapidRide E Line are serving the temporary stop eastbound on Battery St just east of 3rd Av.

Long-term Construction Reroutes

120th Av NE is closed between Totem Lake Blvd & NE 128th St

  • Through Sunday, 12/31 – at all times;
  • Metro routes 235, 236, 238 and 277 are rerouted.

Main St is closed in downtown Bothell

  • Through Sunday, 12/31 – at all times;
  • Metro routes 243, 312, 342, 372 and Sound Transit Route ST 522 are rerouted.

Long-term Construction Closures

The South Bellevue Park-and-Ride closure

  • Through mid-year 2022 for East Link construction.
  • Metro Route 241 & Sound Transit Express routes 550, 555 and 556 are affected.  During this time, use the stop on Bellevue Way SE just north of 112th Av SE, across the street from the park-and-ride.
  • Heading toward the Bellevue Transit Center, these routes will continue to serve the stop on Bellevue Way SE, just outside the park-and-ride.
