Metro’s Friday PM Commute: Earlier service delays are subsiding; expect possible delays after 8 PM due to fans exiting the Seahawks game

  • Friday, 8/25 at 5:00 PM
  • Ride regularly scheduled transit service to and from the game.
  • There is no special service from/to park-and-rides on weekday games.
  • Expect traffic & possible transit delays before and after games on routes that serve Chinatown/International District, SODO, Pioneer Square & downtown Seattle.
  • All transit service requires fare payment.

Buses will be rerouted off of SR-520

  • Friday, 8/25, 11:00 PM-Monday, 8/28, 5:00 AM;
  • Metro routes 255 & 271, and Sound Transit Express Route 545
    will be rerouted.

Long-term Construction Reroutes

120th Av NE is closed between Totem Lake Blvd & NE 128th St

  • Through Sunday, 12/31 – at all times;
  • Metro routes 235, 236, 238 and 277 are rerouted.

Main St is closed in downtown Bothell

  • Through Sunday, 12/31 – at all times;
  • Metro routes 243, 312, 342, 372 and Sound Transit Route ST 522 are rerouted.

Long-term Construction Closures

The South Bellevue Park-and-Ride closure

  • Through mid-year 2022 for East Link construction.
  • Metro Route 241 & Sound Transit Express routes 550, 555 and 556 are affected.  During this time, use the stop on Bellevue Way SE just north of 112th Av SE, across the street from the park-and-ride.
  • Heading toward the Bellevue Transit Center, these routes will continue to serve the stop on Bellevue Way SE, just outside the park-and-ride.
  • Visit Sound Transit for information about the East Link project, and alternate park-and-ride options.
  • Visit Metro Online for complete information about Metro and regional transportation services.
  • Visit Metro’s online or mobile Puget Sound Trip Planner to plan your travel, and for bus stop, schedule and other information.

Northbound buses have resumed regular route on University Way NE near NE 43rd St.

Metro’s Friday PM Commute: Northbound buses are currently rerouted off of University Way NE near NE 43rd St due to a blockage

Northbound routes 45, 71 and 373 are currently rerouted off of University Way NE between NE 42nd St and NE 45th St, due to a blockage.

Until further notice, use the stop on northbound University Way NE south of NE 42nd St or north of NE 45th St.

Heading southbound on University Way NE, these routes are not affected.
