Metro’s Monday PM Commute: Routes 7 & 9 continue to be rerouted on Rainier Av S near S Holly St & Routes 21 & 50 continue to reroute via S Holgate St

Route 7 buses are not serving Rainier Av S just south of S Walker St and are turned around at the Mount Baker Transit Center to continue
service to downtown Seattle.

Route 7 shuttles buses are operating to assist riders in the affected area. Expect delays until the blockage clears.

Routes 7 shuttle and 9 are traveling via S Graham St, Martin Luther King Jr Way S, S Othello St and Rainier Av S to their regular routing making all posted stops along their reroute.

Routes 21 and 50 are rerouted off of S Lander St between 1st Av S and SODO Busway, due to a blockage. Buses are currently rerouted via S Holgate St.
Rt 21 – Use stops on 1st Av S south of S Lander St or on 4th Av S north of S Lander St.
Rt 50 – Use stops on 1st Av S or on SODO Busway south of S Lander St.

  • Sunday fares will be in effect on Metro bus routes on Thursday.

Metro operates reduced weekday & “when no UW” schedules on Friday, 11/27

  • Some entire routes are canceled & some trips on other routes are canceled.
  • Canceled routes are designated in the service notes in paper & online timetables.
  • Individual trips that are canceled due to the reduced weekday schedule are marked with an “H” in timetables.  
  • Individual trips that are canceled when the UW is not in session are marked with a “D”.
  • Most Metro Transit offices, including the Customer Information office, pass sales counters and Lost & Found will be closed on Friday.
  • Metro’s Customer Information call center at 206-553-3000 will reopen Monday, Nov 30  at 6:00 AM.
