Metro’s Wednesday PM Commute: Route 36 is not serving the route south of S Othello St; DSTT closure this weekend, plus more…

Route 36 is currently unable to serve the route south of S Othello St due to a motor vehicle accident.

Use stops north of S Othello St.

A shuttle will be operational shortly to serve the route south of S Othello St.

Event Reroutes –

Mariners Home Stand

  • Monday, 6/1 through Sunday, 6/7; various start times. There is an afternoon game, Wednesday, 6/3 @ 12:40 PM.
  • Ride regularly scheduled Transit service to & from games.
  • Expect traffic & possible Transit delays before and after games on routes that serve SODO, Pioneer Square & the DSTT.
  • Fans can use area park & ride lots and are reminded to plan their return trips.
  • SODO-area Transit service will operate via regular routes & stops.

Downtown Seattle Transit Tunnel (DSTT) weekend closure

Long-term Stop Closures –

Northbound on 3rd Av just north of Pike St

Southbound on 3rd Av just north of Pike St

The “Island” bus stop westbound on Pine St just east of 3rd Av

  • Permanently closed beginning Monday, 5/4/15.
  • Buses that normally serve this stop, then travel south on 3rd Av will be rerouted to travel instead via 7th Av to Union St, then south on 3rd Av and serve the stop westbound on Union St just west of 6th Av.
  • Buses that normally serve the Island stop, then travel to either Virginia St or eastbound Pike St will continue to serve the previous stop, westbound on Pine St just east of 5th Av.

Long-Term Construction Reroutes –

Eastbound N 200th St closed between Aurora Av N & Ashworth Av N
