Metro’s Friday PM commute is progressing with no significant delays or disruptions in transit service to report.

Please note the information below about service advisories and alerts due to known events in the Metro service area.

Event –

Bumbershoot Festival at the Seattle Center

  • Saturday, 8/31-Monday, 9/2 – gates open 11 AM daily;
  • No special shuttle or extra transit service for this event;
  • Metro routes 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 13, 24, 32, 33 and the RapidRide D Line
    serve Seattle Center; Routes 5, 16, 26, 28, 40 and 358 travel to within a few blocks of the festival;
  • A valid fare is required on all Metro service;
  • Visit Metro’s online Trip Planner to plan your transit trip to and from
    Bumbershoot at Seattle Center and other events and locations.

On Aurora Av N at Mercer St & Thomas St

The bus stops on northbound Aurora Av N at Thomas St & Mercer St and on southbound Aurora Av N at Mercer St are closed until further notice, due to the Mercer West Project.

Metro routes 5, 16, 26 Ex, 28 Ex & 358 are affected.
