Metro’s Wednesday evening commute is winding down with no significant delays or disruptions in transit service to report.

Holiday Schedules

University of Washington 

  • The ‘When no UW‘ schedule is in effect 12/19-23 & 12/27-30.

Metro Holiday Bus Service

Between Monday, December 19 and Tuesday, January 3, some Metro routes will operate on reduced schedules, and there will be two Monday holidays when Metro operates Sunday service.

  •  Metro will operate its Sunday schedule on the following holidays:
        – Sunday, Dec. 25 – Christmas
        – Monday, Dec 26 – Christmas holiday observed
        – Sunday, Jan. 1 – New Year’s Day
        – Monday, Jan. 2 – New Year’s holiday observed
  •  Metro’s reduced weekday schedule will be in effect
        – Tuesday-Friday, Dec. 27-30

Overnight construction on westbound SR-520 at 84 Av NE

  • Weeknights – Monday-Thursday nights – 12/12-22 – 11 PM-5 AM each night
  • Route 271 will be rerouted by this closure.
  • Use stops northbound on 84thAvNEat NE 20 St, or westbound on SR-520 at Evergreen Point Station.

Seahawks at CenturyLink Field

  • Saturday, 12/24 – Game time – 1:15 PM
  • Metro will provide special P&R service.
  • Traffic in the SODO, Stadium, Pioneer Square& downtown Seattle
       areas may be congested on game days. 
  • Ride transit to the game.
