Metro’s Thursday PM commute wrap up; Mercer St ramps to and from I-5 and Broad St between Western N and 9th N will be closed July 22, 11PM to July 25, 5AM; plus other upcoming events that may impact service

At 7:00 PM – Good evening! Metro’s Thursday PM commute is winding down with no significant delays or disruptions in service to report.

Enumclaw Street Fair

  • Friday, July 22, 5:00 AM through Saturday, July 23, 8:00 PM
  • Routes 186 & 912 will be rerouted due to this event.

Renton River Days

West Seattle American Legion Post 160 Grande Parade

Des Moines Waterland Parade

  • Saturday, July 23, 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
  • Route 132 will be rerouted due to this event.

Seafair Triathlon

Swedish Summer Run

  • Sunday, July 24, 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM
  • Route 2 will be rerouted due to this event.

Chinatown Seafair Parade

Fauntleroy/Vashon/Southworth – Traffic Impacts
Starting Sunday, July 17
Expect ferry delays and traffic congestion at the Fauntleroy terminal
starting Sunday, July 17.  

  • Please take extra caution around the Fauntleroy terminal and be prepared for possible delays.  
  • Some sailings will depart without a full load during peak times because of blocking traffic.  
  •  WSF is monitoring the situation closely to determine  impacts
    and possible adjustments.

Mount Baker Station elevators to and from the southbound platform are out of service
The elevators to and from the Mount Baker Station southbound platform are out of service until further notice. 

Until repairs are made, southbound passengers who require the use of the elevator and want to board at Mount Baker should ride instead north toBeacon Hill and transfer to a southbound train. 

Passengers who want to exit at Mount Baker should ride  to Columbia Cityand transfer to a northbound train. 

We will return at 6:00 AM tomorrow morning to help keep an Eye on Your Metro Commute.
