Metro’s Thursday’s evening commute has ended with delays on southbound I-5 at N Northgate Way are subsiding.
The SR-520 Bridge will be closed for up to 30 minutes, today, May 23 at 7:00 PM due to a scheduled draw span opening.

Event – NW Folklife Festival at Seattle Center starts Friday
- Friday, May 24 through Monday, May 27
- There are no shuttles on Friday, May 24. On Friday, and at other times during the event, regularly scheduled service on Metro routes 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 13, 24, 33 and the RapidRide D Line serve Seattle Center directly. Routes 5, 16, 26, 28 and 358 go to within walking distance. Regular fares apply.
- Metro will provide shuttle service Saturday-Monday from the Northgate TC & S Renton P&R. At Seattle Center, both shuttles arrive and depart from the bus stop eastbound on Mercer St at 3rd Av N.
- Shuttle fare is $2.50 cash-only per person each way. Children aged 5 & under ride free. No passes, transfers or ORCA cards are accepted.
Long-Term Bus Stop Closures – On Aurora Av N at Mercer St
and Thomas St
- UFN.
- The bus stops on northbound Aurora Av N at Thomas St & Mercer St, and on southbound Aurora Av N at Mercer St are closed due to the Mercer West Project.
- Metro routes 5, 16, 26 Ex, 28 Ex & 358 are affected.
Construction – Northbound Westlake Av N is closed between
Mercer St & 9th Av N
- Through Wednesday, 7/31 at all times
- Metro routes 40 & 62 are rerouted.
