Please note the information below advising about construction activities or other events that may affect Transit operation in Metro’s service area.
Event – Norwegian Constitution Day Parade
- Friday, 5/17 4:00-8:00 PM
- Metro routes 17 Ex, 18 Ex, 29, 40, 44, 61, 62 will be rerouted.
Event – University Street Fair
- Friday, 5/17 at Midnight – Sunday, 5/19
- Metro routes 30, 71, 72 , 73 & 83 Night Owl will be rerouted.
Event – Sounders FC match
- Saturday, 5/18 at 7:30 PM
- Ride regularly scheduled Transit service to or near CenturyLink Field; there is no premium or special Transit service provided by Metro;
- Transit service operates via regular routes & stops in Stadium area;
- Expect traffic & possible Transit delays before and after games on routes that serve SODO, Stadium, Pioneer Square & downtown Seattle area;
- Regular fares apply.
Event – Birth of Buddha Parade
- Saturday, 5/18 9:00-11:30 AM
- Metro route 14 will be rerouted.
Construction – On Blanchard St between 3rd and 7th avenues
- Through Monday, 5/20 at all times
- Metro routes 26, 28, 40 & 62 are rerouted.
Construction – On northbound Rainier Av S at SW Grady Way
- Through Friday, 6/7 at all times
- Metro routes 101, 102, 140, 167 & 169 are rerouted.
Construction – Northbound Westlake Av N is closed between
Mercer St & 9th Av N
- Through Wednesday, 7/31 at all times
- Metro routes 40 & 62 are rerouted.
Long-Term Bus Stop Closures – On Aurora Av N at Mercer St
and Thomas St
- Until further notice.
- The stops on northbound Aurora Av N at Thomas St and Mercer St, and
- Southbound Aurora Av N at Mercer St are closed due to the Mercer Corridor Project.
- Metro routes 5, 16, 26 Ex, 28 Ex & 358 are affected.
