Metro’s Friday afternoon commute is continuing with traffic along southbound I-5 between NE Northgate Wy & downtown Seattle. Expect possible transit service delays.

The SR-520 Bridge will be closed for up to 30 minutes on Friday,
September 21 at 7:00 PM, due to a scheduled drawspan opening

Special Rider Alert
Metro’s Fall service change begins Saturday, 9/29.

The downtown Seattle Ride Free Area will be eliminated starting Saturday, 9/29. At that time all transit riders will pay as they board on all trips at all times.

Mariners home stand

  • Monday, 9/17 through Sunday, 9/23.
  • No game on Thursday, 9/20.
  • Most weekday evenings games start at 7:10 PM.
  • There is no premium or special Transit service to or from games.
  • Ride regularly scheduled Transit service to & from games.
  • Lots of Transit service goes near Safeco Field.
  • SODO-area Transit service will operate via regular routes & stops
    and there are no post-game reroutes.
