Metro’s Thursday AM commute has begun with Rt 21 rerouted in the Arbor Heights area; Starting Friday night long term construction reroutes buses off Fairview N; plus other transit impacts

Good morning! Metro’s Thursday AM commute has begun with Rt 21 rerouted off of Marine View Dr SW between SW 112 St and 37 Av SW due to an incident. Use the stops north of Marine View Dr SW and SW 112 St or north of 37 Av SW and 35 Av SW until further notice.

Long-Term Construction Reroutes - Fairview Av N due to new phase in the Mercer Corridor Project 

 

• Starting Friday, 8/24 at 11 PM & expected to last about 6 months;
• Routes 70, 71, 72, 73, 83 Night Owl & 309 will be rerouted;
• Buses will travel via Eastlake Av E instead of Fairview Av N.

Event – Seattle Marathon 10K

• Saturday, 8/25
• 7:30–10:30 AM
• Routes 3, 4, 5, 16, 26, 28, 66 & 358 will be rerouted.

Event – Health & Education Walk & Run

• Saturday, 8/25
• 1:00– 3:00 PM
• Routes 2, 4, 8 & 48 will be rerouted.

Long-term Construction - Eastbound 1st Av S ramp closed from the Spokane Street Viaduct

• Monday, 8/20 through Sunday, 9/30 – At all times;
• Routes 21, 22, 35, 37, 56, 57, 85 Night Owl, 116, 118 & 119 are rerouted;
• Buses using the 4th Av S off ramp instead.

 Construction – 108th Av NE  is closed at NE 58th St

• Through Friday, 8/24 – at all times.
• Routes 255 & ST 540 are rerouted.

Construction – Eastbound N 85th St is closed between Greenwood & Wallingford Av N

• Extended through Friday, 10/26 – at all times.
• Routes 48 & 355 are rerouted.
