Metro’s Friday PM commute has ended, plus other events that may impact transit

Metro’s Friday afternoon commute has ended with no significant delays or disruptions in transit service to report.  The earlier blockage in the Central District has been cleared and service to routes 4 and 48 has resumed to it’s regular routing.

Eastbound N 85th St is closed between Greenwood &
Wallingford Avs N

• Monday, 6/11 through Monday, 8/20 – at all times.
• Routes 48 & 355 are rerouted.

Construction –
Fairview Av N overnight closure as part of the
Mercer Street Reconfiguration Project

• Thursday, August 9, 7:00 PM through Friday, August 10, 5:00 AM
• Routes 70, 71, 72, 73 & 83 Night Owl will be rerouted by this closure.

Construction –
Fairview Av N weekend closure as part of the
Mercer Street Reconfiguration Project

• Friday, August 10, 7:00 PM through Monday, August 13, 5:00 AM
• Routes 70, 71, 72, 73 & 83 Night Owl will be rerouted by this closure.

Construction -
SR-520 weekend closure

• Friday, August 10 at 11:00 PM – Monday, August 13 at 5:00 AM
• Buses via I-90 instead; Routes 255, 271, 280 Night Owl & ST 545 will be rerouted due to this project.

Ballard Bridge overnight closure

• Saturday, 8/11 through Sunday, 8/12
• 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
• Routes 15, 18 & 81 are rerouted.

Event – Auburn Good Ol’ Days

• Friday, 8/10 through Sunday, 8/12
• 7:00 AM-8:00 AM
• Routes 152, 180 & 181 are rerouted.

Event – PhinneyWood Summer Streets

• Friday, 8/10 through Sunday, 8/12
• 6:00 PM-9:00 PM
• Routes 5, 48 & 355 are rerouted.

Event – Seattle Founders Day Festival

• Saturday, 8/11 & Sunday, 8/12
• 6:00 AM-12:00 Midnight
• Routes 21, 22, 24, 56, 131 & 132 are rerouted.

Event – Bellevue 5K & 12K Run

• Sunday, 8/12
• 7:30 AM-11:00 AM
• Metro route 271 & Sound Transit route 560 are rerouted.

Event – Seahawks Game Day Shuttles

• Non-stop Shuttle buses to and from the Eastgate P&R, Northgate Transit Center and South Kirkland P&R.
• 2012/13 season.
