Metro’s Thursday PM commute has ended; SR-520 drawspan openings scheduled tonight and other events that may impact service

Metro’s Thursday evening commute has ended. Traffic along 5 Ave in downtown Seattle has improved.

The SR-520 bridge will be closed for up to 30 mins tonight, Thursday, July 19 at 7 PM & 8 PM due to 2 scheduled drawspan openings. Expect brief delays in transit service during this time.

Construction – Anticipate possible delays due to
I-90 lane closures extended near Issaquah

Contractor crews removing an old, narrow fish culvert between eastbound
and westbound Interstate 90 east of Issaquah will extend lane closures on eastbound I-90.

At 6 AM Saturday, July 14, crews will close the left lane of eastbound I-90 through 3 PM, Friday, July 20.  Crews will reopen the lane for Friday afternoon travelers and will reclose the lane on Saturday, July 21, until Friday, July 27.
