Metro’s Tuesday PM commute has begun and upcoming events that may impact service

Metro’s Tuesday afternoon commute is underway with Routes 15, 18, 19, 24 & 33 are experiencing delay from an earlier incident near Elliot Av W & W Galer St.

Construction – Anticipate possible delays due to
I-90 lane closures extended near Issaquah

Contractor crews removing an old, narrow fish culvert between eastbound
and westbound Interstate 90 east of Issaquah will extend lane closures on eastbound I-90.

At 6 AM Saturday, July 14, crews will close the left lane of eastbound I-90 through 3 PM, Friday, July 20. Crews will reopen the lane for Friday afternoon travelers and will reclose the lane on Saturday, July 21, until Friday, July 27.

Construction –
Eastbound N 85th St is closed between Greenwood & Aurora Avs N

Monday, 6/11 through Monday, 8/20 – at all times.
Eastbound Route 48 is rerouted.
Westbound service is on regular route.

Event – Sounders FC match - Wednesday, July 18 at 6:30 PM

Although no transit service is rerouted due to this event, expect traffic & transit schedule delays in the SODO, Stadium, Pioneer Square & downtown Seattle areas;
Ride transit to CenturyLink Field events;
Regular fares apply.
