Metro’s Friday morning commute has begun; the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon, Pride Festival and Pride Parade this weekend; plus other events that may impact service

Good morning! Metro’s Friday morning commute is underway with no significant delays or disruptions in service to report.

Please note the information below about possible traffic impacts in Metro’s service area.

Event – Rock ‘n Roll Marathon 

Event – Capitol Hill Pride Festival on Broadway

Event – Seattle Pride Parade

Construction – northbound SODO Busway closed at S Spokane St

Construction – Aurora Av N closed in both directions at N 85th St

  • Friday, 6/22 at 10:00 PM through Monday, 6/25 at about 6:00 AM;
  • Route 358 will be rerouted;
  • Westbound Routes 48 and 82 Night Owl will operate via their regular routes, but may experience delays;
  • Eastbound Route 48 is already on a long-term construction reroute;
  • Expect possible related traffic & transit schedule delays in the area & on Routes 5, 16, 26, 28, 30, 31, 44 & 75.

Construction – Eastbound N 85th St is closed between Greenwood & Aurora Avs N
