Metro’s Wednesday PM commute has ended; Sounder FC match tonight, plus other upcoming events that may impact transit service

Good evening! Metro’s Wednesday PM commute is winding down with no significant delays or disruptions in service to report.

Please note the information below about possible traffic impacts in Metro’s service area.

Construction – northbound SODO Busway closed at S Spokane St

Event – Sounders FC match tonight, starting at 7:00 PM

Construction – Aurora Av N closed in both directions at N 85th St

  • Friday, 6/22 at 10:00 PM through Monday, 6/25 at about 6:00 AM;
  • Route 358 will be rerouted;
  • Expect possible related traffic & transit schedule delays in the area & on Routes 5, 16, 26, 28, 30, 31, 44 & 75.

Event – Rock ‘n Roll Marathon on Saturday, June 23

Event – Capitol Hill Pride Festival on Broadway

Event – Seattle Pride Parade on Sunday, June 24

  • Expect possible service delays on Routes 54, 116, 118, 119 & ST 560.

Metro’s Wednesday morning commute has ended; Rt 226 continues to be rerouted, plus upcoming events that may impact service

Metro’s Wednesday morning commute is winding down. Route 226 continues to be rerouted between NE Bel/Red Road and NE 24th St.  Please continue to use stops on NE Bel/Red Road south of NE 20th st or on NE 24th St east of 156th Av NE.  This reroute is expected to last at least until 10:00 AM.

Route 226 is temporarily rerouted in both directions off of NE 20th St and 156th Av NE between NE Bel/Red Road and NE 24t St due to a blocking accident.

Pleasue use stops on NE Bel/Red Road south of NE 20th St or on NE 24th St east on 156th Av NE.
