Construction – Alaskan Way Viaduct Weekend Closure
- Friday, May 18 11:00 PM through Monday, May 21 5:00 AM
- Routes 5, 54, 55, 120 & 125 will be rerouted.
Event – University District Street Fair
- Friday, May 18, 12:00 AM midnight – Sunday, May 20, End of Service.
- Routes 30, 71, 72, 73 & 83 Night Owl will be rerouted.
Construction – on 15th Av E both directions, between E John St & E Denny Way
- Saturday, May 19 10:00 PM – Sunday, May 20 11:59 PM
- At all times during the closure
- Route 10 will be rerouted.
Event – Nordstrom’s Beat the Bridge Run
- Sunday, May 20.
- 7:30 AM – 11:00 AM.
- Routes 30, 43, 48, 49 65, 66, 71, 72, 73, 75 & 271 will be rerouted.
Event – West Seattle 5K Run & Alki Seattle Summer Streets
- Sunday, May 20.
- 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
- Routes 56 & DART 775 will be rerouted.
Washington State Ferry announces two boat Vashon service for
Monday 5/21 and Tuesday, 5/22
Due to necessary vessel repairs and inspections, the Fauntleroy/Vashon/Southworth route will operate on a two-boat schedule Monday, May 21, and Tuesday, May 22, with the 90-car Sealth and the 124-car Kitsap. Please plan ahead for travel on this route on Monday and Tuesday.
The King County Water Taxi advises that riders should utilize the two boat schedule issued to plan their commute during this period as this change will affect Southworth commuters, riders catching Metro buses coming off the Fauntleroy/Vashon route, and more.
The Water Taxi will be operating normal Vashon service but anticipates heavy ridership for the 7:10 AM sailing.

- Monday, May 21 7:00 AM – Tuesday, May 22 7:00 PM
- At all times during the closure
- Route 175 & DART Rt 901 will be rerouted.
Construction – NE 90th St Bridge closure in Redmond
- Monday, May 21 8:00 AM – Thursday, May 31 4:00 PM
- At all times during the closure
- The RapidRide B Line will be rerouted.
Mariners home stand begins Monday, 5/21 at 7:10 PM
- There is no post-game premium or special service;
- Ride regularly scheduled transit service to & from games;
- Lots of transit service goes near Safeco Field;
- SODO-area transit service operates via regular routes & stops;
there are no post-game reroutes - There is no longer any transit service on 1st Av S north ofS Lander St;
- Expect traffic & possible transit delays before & after game on routes
that serve SODO & Pioneer Square.
Construction – Colman Dock bus stop revision
- Until further notice.
- Rts 16 & 66 are serving a new combined bus island on the Alaskan Way roadway between Marion & Columbia streets across from the ferry terminal.
- Rt 99 stops north of Colman Dock atPike St.
RapidRide C Line construction at Fauntleroy ferry dock
- Through the middle of June
- Expect possible service delays on Routes 54, 116, 118, 119 & ST 560.
