Metro’s Thursday PM commute has ended; plus upcoming events that may impact transit service

Metro’s Thursday afternoon commute has ended with no significant delays or disruptions in transit service to report.

Please note the information below about other traffic impacts in Metro’s service area.

Mariners home stand begins Friday, May 4 at 7:10 PM

  • There is no post-game premium or special service;
  • Ride regularly scheduled transit service to & from games;
  • Lots of transit service goes near Safeco Field;
  • SODO-area transit service will operate via regular routes & stops
    & there are no post-game reroutes;
  • There is no longer any transit service on 1st Av S north of S Lander St;
  • Expect traffic & possible transit delays both pre & post game on routes
    that serve SODO & Pioneer Square, including DSTT routes.

Sounders FC - Saturday,  May 5 at 1:00 PM
Although no transit service is rerouted due to this event, expect possible delays
due to traffic in the SODO, Stadium, Pioneer Square & downtown Seattle areas.

Construction – eastbound on NW 85th St between 8th Av NW & Greenwood Av N
