Tuesday PM May Day Rally – possible impact to transit service.

A May Day march and rally are planned for Tuesday, May 1.

The procession will be from the Central District along S Jackson St and 4thAv to the Wells Fargo Building on 3rd Av between Madison and Marion streets.

Transit service – and all traffic – in downtown Seattle will likely be delayed during the Tuesday afternoon commute time.  Please be prepared for transit service delays – and possible reroutes.

The best options are to leave town as early in the day as possible; plan to board or exit buses south of S Jackson St or north of University St during the event, or travel through downtown via  transit service in the Downtown Seattle Transit Tunnel.

Construction – eastbound on NW 85th St between 8th Av NW & Greenwood Av N

Thank you for riding and using Metro’s services.

We will be here until 7:00 PM to keep an Eye on Your Metro Commute.

Travel safely and have a great afternoon.
