Metro’s Friday afternoon commute ends. Interruptions and delays in the Metro’s service are starting to subside. The trolley buses that lost electric power earlier this afternoon along E Madison St are getting back on schedule after a 50 minute service delay. Heavy traffic on the east side due to movements of the Presidential motorcade persist. The South Lake Union Streetcar has resumed regular service after a 30 minute interruption.

There will be no Eye On Your Metro Commute updates on Monday, February 20th, in observance of the Presidents Day holiday.

• Thru Saturday, May 12.
• Routes 48 & 81 Night Owl are rerouted.

West Lake Sammamish Pkwy closure between NE 2nd Pl & SE 26th St

• Until further notice.
• School Route 888 is rerouted.

South Lake Union Street Car service resumes. The earlier blockage as been cleared. Expect delays. Thank you for your patience.

South Lake Union Street Car (SLUS) service is interrupted in both directions due to a blockage.  Updates will be provided when service is restored.

Heavy Traffic on Eastside due to Presidential Motorcade – expect delays

Expect delays on the Eastside due to movements of the Presidential motorcade and heavy traffic.
