Some of Metro’s service areas are experiencing icy road conditions

Reports of icy roads in some areas of East King County and South end of the Metro ’s Service  area.

Update 8:24 -

Routes 7 & 8 in the Rainier Valley area are currently rerouted and not serving areas south of the Mt Baker Station until further notice.

For service between Mt Baker and Rainier Beach area, please use Link Light Rail.

Areas known to be affected at this time: RainierValley near Rainier Av S & S Henderson St, Southcenter area, SR-509 & Tukwila areas.
