Metro’s Tuesday PM commute is winding down with no sifnificant delays or disruptions within the Metro service area.

If you were in the downtown Seattle Transit Tunnel (DSTT) today between 4:00 PM-6:00 PM, thank you for participating in the travel-time testing that occured. Your cooperation is appreciated and will help determine what operational changes need to be made next fall when a pay as you enter system is implemented.

Metro’s Tuesday PM commute is underway with W Mercer St blocked between Queen Anne Av N and 1st Av N.

Northbound Route 1 – For service north of 1st Av N/W Mercer St, use the stop northbound on 1st Av N at Mercer St. Stay on Route 1 for its southbound service to downtown Seattle.

Westbound Rt 8 – Use the stop northbound on 1st Av N at Mercer St or westbound on W Roy St at 2nd Av W.

Northbound Rts 15 & 18 – Use the stop northbound on 1st Av N at Mercer St or westbound on W Mercer St at 3rd Av W.

All bus routes operating to the downtown Seattle Transit Tunnel are using surface streets

Due to tunnel congestion, all routes operating to the downtown Seattle Transit Tunnel (DSTT) are currently using surface streets until further notice.

The DSTT is open. Central Link light rail service and buses leaving the tunnel are operating normally with possible minor delays.
