The last weekday PM commute of 2011  is over with no significant transit service disruptions to report. 

Metro continues to operate its ‘Reduced Weekday’ and ‘When No UW’ schedules through the remainder of Friday, then a Saturday schedule on December 31 and its Sunday schedule on both New Year’s Day and Monday, January 2. 

Metro returns to regular weekday service on Tuesday, January 3.

New Year’s at the Needle

• Saturday, December 31.
• 11:00 PM – 12:30 AM.
• Routes 4, 8, 16 & 30 will be rerouted by this closure.
• ST Central Link service will operate two extra late night trips
  Saturday night, leaving Westlake Tunnel Station at 1:00 & 1:15 AM.

EOYMC will take a holiday on Monday, and will return Tuesday morning, January 3, at 6:00 AM to help keep an Eye on Your Metro Commute.

The last weekday PM commute of 2011  is continuing- with no significant transit service disruptions to report.  The intersection at Kirkland Way and 6th St was cleared with no major problems for transit, and an unexpected snow or hail event in East King County is also not cuasing any problems.

Kirk;and Way has been reopened at 6th Street.  There are no
reroutes of transit service in that area.
