Metro’s Friday afternoon commute is winding down with no significant delays or disruptions in transit service to report.
Microsoft Employee Meeting Today at Safeco Field
Expect traffic congestion in the stadium, SODO and Pioneer Square areas during this event from about 7 AM-6 PM.
The Seattle Police Department will provide traffic controls similar to a large sporting event.
Seattle Aids Walk
- Saturday, September 24
- 9:00 AM-2:00 PM
- Metro bus routes 2, 49 and 60 will be rerouted.
UW Husky Football
- Saturday, September 24 – 12:30 PM
- Free Husky shuttles from several P&Rs.
- Rts 31, 44, 65, 68 & 75 will be rerouted during this event.
Service Revisions at Bellevue TC Bay 3 – 9/22-23
On Thursday and Friday, 9/22-23, Metro routes 243 and 261 will not serve Bay 3 at the Bellevue Transit Center while operational testing is conducted on the RapidRide B Line, scheduled to begin service on October 1. During this time, routes that normally use BTC Bay 3 will instead serve Bay 1 at the west end of the BTC, southbound on 108th Ave NE.
The Mt Baker Link Station elevator to & from the southbound platform is out of service. The northbound platform elevator is operating.
- Until repairs are made, southbound passengers who require the use of the elevator should ride instead north to Beacon Hill and transfer to a southbound train.
- Southbound passengers who want to exit at Mt Baker should ride to Columbia City & transfer to a northbound train back to Mt Baker.
