Metro’s Wednesday PM Commute is Winding Down

Metro’s Wednesday afternoon commute is winding down with no significant delays or disruptions in service at this time.

We did have a blocking incident affecting route 169 at 108 Av SE and SE 204 St. Delays are expected to subside shortly.

We will return at 6:00 AM  on Thursday to keep an Eye On Your Metro Commute.

Metro’s Wednesday PM Commute Quietly Underway

Metro’s Wednesday afternoon commute is off to a quiet start with no significant delays or disruptions in transit service to report.

As of 3:00 PM, the Mariners game is about to end, expect added traffic in the Safeco Field vicinity. There are no post-game reroutes to Metro service when mid-day games are played.

Metro’s Wednesday AM Commute Is Winding Down Plus Mariners Afternoon Game At 12:40 PM

Metro’s Wednesday morning commute is winding down with no major delays in transit service to report.

Ms Game today, Wednesday, 4/20. Gametime -  12:40 PM, Safeco Field

Traffic in the SODO, Stadium, Pioneer Square & downtown
Seattle areas may be congested on game days.

King County Metro Transit and its regional transit partners
can get Ms fans to and from points near Safeco Field
 via
transit-priority routes that are not shared by general purpose
traffic – the Downtown Seattle Transit Tunnel (DSTT),
the SODO Busway and the Link light rail corridor – making
transit a great option for getting to and from games.

Fans should use regularly published schedules and expect
possible delays when traffic is heavy.  Regular fares apply.

There are no post-game reroutes for games that start prior to 7:00 p.m. on weekdays. Transit service on other streets in the stadium area is expected to remain on regular route, with possible delays when stadium-area traffic is heavy.
