Metro’s Friday PM Commute Wrap-Up; Construction Projects & West Seattle Water Taxi Canceled

Paving along 15 Ave NE – between NE 50 St & NE Pacific St 

Saturday, March 26, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM only.

Service will be affected along southbound 15 Av NE between NE 50 St & NE Pacific St. Click  here for more information.

West Seattle Water Taxi service canceled for the rest of this week

Service on the West Seattle Water Taxi is canceled for the rest of the week because the Rachel Marie vessel is undergoing repairs.
Service will not resume before next Monday, March 28. Passengers should watch for service updates later in the week and over the weekend via the Water Taxi website and subscriber alerts.
 

Alternative service is available on Metro Transit service:

Bus Stop Service Revisions Near the UW – Starting March 28

Bus stops north & southbound on 15 Av NE, just north of NE 40 St will be closed for 3 weeks. Traffic revisions start on March 28. Click HERE to learn more about this project. 

 

 

Metro’s Friday PM Commute Quietly Underway; Sounders Game; Construction Projects & West Seattle Water Taxi Canceled

Metro’s Friday afternoon commute is underway with no significant delays or disruptions in transit service to report. Please note the following alerts:

Sounders FC Match tonight at 7:00 p.m.

Expect delays around Qwest field due to increased traffic and fans arriving for the game.

Paving along 15 Ave NE – between NE 50 St & NE Pacific St 

Saturday, March 26, 7:00 AM – Sunday, March 27, 7:00 PM.

Service will be affected along southbound 15 Av NE between NE 50 St & NE Pacific St. Click here for more information.

The University of Washington is on Spring Break - March 21-25         (No UW)
 
When the UW is not in session, some routes operate a weekday schedule with designated trip canceled. Weekday fares apply.
Canceled trips are identified in Metro Timetables with a “D”. Click here to view the timetable for your route.  Routes affected: 31, 45, 65, 67, 68, 75, 133, 167, 197, 205, 271, 272, 277, 372 & 373.

Service on the West Seattle Water Taxi is canceled for the rest of the week because the Rachel Marie vessel is undergoing repairs.
Service will not resume before next Monday, March 28. Passengers should watch for service updates later in the week and over the weekend via the Water Taxi website and subscriber alerts.
