Metro’s Friday PM Commute Wrap-up, Plus Reduced Weekday & When No UW Service Monday, Jan 17

At 7:00 PM, Metro’s Friday evening commute is winding down with no significant disruptions or delays in transit service to report.

King County Metro Transit reminds bus riders that it will be operating its reduced weekday and “when no UW” schedules on Monday, Jan. 17 in observance of Dr Martin Luther King Jr. Day.  Most King County and Metro Transit offices, including the pass sales and Lost & Found offices will be closed on Monday.

On Monday some entire routes are canceled and designated trips on other routes are canceled.

Canceled routes are designated in the service notes in timetables and on Metro’s online holiday information page.

Individual reduced weekday trips that are canceled are marked with an “H” in timetables.

Individual ‘when no UW’ trips that are canceled are marked with a “D” in timetables.

Regular fares apply.

Metro’s Customer Information call center at 206-553-3000 is normally open weekdays from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM and Saturdays & Sundays from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM.  It will be closed on Monday.

At 3:00 PM, Metro’s Friday afternoon commute begins quietly with no significant delays or disruptions in transit service to report.

King County Metro Transit reminds bus riders that it will be operating its reduced weekday and “when no UW” schedules on Monday, Jan. 17 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

During this time some entire routes are canceled and designated trips on other routes are canceled.
