A new regional transit pass will allow riders to travel by bus, train, streetcar or water taxi all day for one price. The Visitor Day Pass is being piloted by Puget Sound transit agencies and will be available for the next six months.
The King County Flood Warning Center opened at 11:45 a.m. on Wednesday, March 5 as persistent rainfall brought the Snoqualmie and Tolt rivers up to a Phase II flood alert level. Only minor flooding is expected on both rivers.
Closed - Mudslide. Recent mudslides have temporarily closed West Valley Highway about a quarter-mile south of Ellingson Road. The road will remain closed until further notice while King County engineers evaluate the road and nearby soil conditions and identify next steps. Drivers can follow marked detours in the area.
