Metro’s Friday PM Commute is Underway

At 3:00 PM, Metro’s Friday afternoon commute
is quietly underway with no significant delays or
disruptions in transit service to report.

Tonight’s Mariners game begins at 7:10 p.m.

Ride Metro to tonight’s Mariners game.  Many Metro routes are a short walk to Safeco Field.   After the game, Metro is offering special service to Eastgate Park & Ride, South Bellevue Park & Ride, South Kirkland Park & Ride and Northgate Transit Center.

Due to a recent court ruling, Metro cannot continue to offer special transportation services for Mariners baseball games. The special Metro shuttles scheduled from park-and-ride lots on weekends and after evening games will end after the June 18-24, 2010 home stand.  Metro and the Mariners hopes this will give fans adequate advance notice, so they can make alternative transportation plans for the rest of the season. Please use the trip planner to find regular transit service that serves Safeco Field on game days.
